About Us
Encouragement Five Eleven exists to encourage and build up the Body of Christ through providing encouraging and inspirational resources for individuals and churches. It is the ….. of Rachel & Tim Price a brother and sister team who live on the beautiful Isle of Man, at the very heart of the British Isles. The Island’s landscape provides ample opportunity for Rachel (who works as a photographer) to capture the beauty of God’s creation and share it with others. Her favourite way to share these images is when combined with encouraging scriptures and Bible promises. These have a special place in her heart and are the reason Encouragement Five Eleven began.
Finding herself bed bound with M.E (or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) at the start of 2016 Rachel turned to Scripture for encouragement. When all she could physically do was roll over and look at scriptures on post it notes by the side of her bed the scriptures and promises from God written on those papers gave her hope that things could change and that God would come through on the promises He had made in the Bible. As she grew stronger she began to be able to sit up and doodle these scriptures in notebooks and later to begin adding them to the large collection of images she had taken over the years of the island and places further afield. In time these images became products featuring on cards, mugs, chopping boards, coasters, clocks and anything else she could put them on with one aim. To enable people to keep key scriptures in front of them in practical ways so that it could bring hope and build faith in them just as it had in her.
In 2017? She started a facebook page (back then called Encouragement 511) to share the scripture images she created with a wider audience and to hopefully spread the encouragement and inspiration. And now we feel the nudge from God again to reach out further, to hopefully encourage, inspire and build up more people as we share the products and resources God inspires us to create.
Tim (a composer and audio engineer) is now also adding his skills to the project and we are excited to see where God takes us, and you, as we continue this encouragement journey together.
